    Acworth Living 05/08/2018
Acworth is a very moderate little city with a little country and city twist to it. Its about 40 miles from Atlanta, GA, just far enough to get away from the big city, but close enough to visit for fun and activities. Acworth is a family oriented town, lots of parks, churches and restaurants for eating and activities for the entire family, including the dog. There is a Marta Rail System which is located in Marietta less than 10 miles away. Feels Like Home 10/23/2018
One of the best kept secrets in Metro Atlanta but definitely will not stay that way. Acworth has something for everyone with its easy access to major highways and interstates, recreational lakes, sporting complexes, and school systems that consistently are ranked highly in the state. My family is proud to call Acworth home and invite you to come see all that Acworth has to offer! Enjoy Sights and Sounds of the Railroad 02/09/2019
Located in northwest Cobb County, Acworth is home to two magnificent lakes , lake Acworth and lake Allatoona - with swimming, fishing, boating and sailing opportunities. Shoppers enjoy Acworth's historical downtown, which offers a variety of cuisines, from classic Italian to spicy Cajun. Acworth has many community parks, as well as the 42-acre Acworth Sports Complex. You'll find that the quaint Main Street village with its picturesque downtown district draws you back to another time. Stroll the streets of the historic district, shop at the many different boutiques, dine at one of the eclectic restaurants or cafés, or simply relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the railroad trains calling you back to a bygone era. Acworth has become one of the north Georgia region's coolest, trendiest venues, inviting both visitors from Atlanta and travelers passing through on I-75 to a splendid variety of cuisines, unique shops and live music.
