The Esplanade Golf and Country Club

Driving into the Esplanade Golf and Country Club is like driving into a luxurious resort. Nearly every home is on the golf course and it sits on nearly 1800 acres, the majority of which is dedicated to nature preserves and lakes. Our agents were treated to lunch at the Poolside Grill and then given a tour of the newest models.

The full-service bar and grill was situated beside the resort pool, surrounded by private cabanas and overlooking the championship golf course. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we were all tempted to stay and explore the nearby wellness center and butterfly garden.

There are six different ‘collections’ in the Esplanade, as well as an area for future development. Of the seven or so homes we toured, the most popular ones seemed to be the Mercede and the Farnese. Both are one story homes with two-car garages and beautiful exteriors.

The layout was designed with entertaining in mind. The flowing open layout of the kitchen and living room, as well as the large patio, the perfect spot for grilling. The large windows let in natural light throughout the home and add to the warm, tropical feel.

The developer, Taylor Morrison, outdid themselves in the Mercede. Starting at over 3,000 square feet, this home, part of the Torino Collection, is a work of art.
