Top 5 Reasons I LOVE Boise!

Top 5 Reasons I LOVE Boise!

    Jul 20, 2019

Hey there, my name's RebelAnn Mueller! I'm a realtor here in the Boise area with Better Homes and Garden 43 Degrees North Real Estate. If you're like a lot of people, you're probably wondering, what the heck is so great about Boise? Well, I'm gonna go over it with you right now. If you're interested in real estate in the Boise area, your are probably going to want to read this!

All right, let's get to it! What's number one on my list?

Safety; Boise is a safe city. It's ranked 82.29 out of 100 from a study by Numbeo. But what does that mean exactly?

That means you're gonna see kids riding and walking their bikes to school. You're gonna kinda find people leaving their doors unlocked. Maybe even leaving their garage doors open all night, which, don't tell anybody, we have a bad habit of doing. Until this day, we've been super lucky. We've never had anything stolen.

Okay, so number two on my list is gonna have to be active. Boise is an active community. There are so many things to do here. If you get bored, it has to be on you. You cannot blame it on Boise. I know that a lot of people from out of state think we're all just a bunch of potato-heads, and just fields and farms, but really we have tons of shopping here.

Downtown Boise has over 100 boutique stores, and over 80 restaurants. Not to mention, we have

a plethora of breweries that are in downtown. So on top of all the breweries that we have here, we also have concerts and festivals, and parades. We have farmers market, we have Alive After Five, and if you're an outdoor enthusiast,

you're gonna love it here because we do not discriminate by seasons. There is something for every season to do here,

whether it's hiking, biking, mountain biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, oh my goodness, I think you get the point!

So number three on my list is affordability. Boise is still quite affordable. Boise is located in Ada county, and the median home price in Ada county for June was $354,405. You know what that means, you have more money in your pocket to play!

Number four on my list is definitely the weather. If you love sunshine, then you'll love Boise and the surrounding areas.

We have over 220 days of sunshine a year. That's right, 220 days of sunshine. That's a lot of sunshine, right? We only have 12.1 inches of rain on average a year, so if you love to get outdoors, this is the ideal climate.

Number five on my list is proximity. Boise is central, so in pretty much any direction that you go, you can either

be up in the mountains hiking, you can be out to a lake water skiing or fishing. You can be down at the river doing some river surfing, or paddle boarding. Or, you can go south out to the desert where you can take your razors, and your quads, to your dirt bikes, and get dirty for the day.

So there you have it, My top 5 reasons why I love Boise! If you are interested in buying or selling real estate in the Boise or Treasure Valley please contact me. I would love to help!
